Read It ...
I'm not one of those writers who is constantly speaking in rhyme or regularly quoting Shakespeare. In fact, can barely recite a phrase of his prose and, truth is, I hate poetry. With that said, I recently finished a book I think is absolutely phenomenal. Great writing and even better message. If you are a mom, you must read this book: What Alice Forgot, by Liane Moriarty. About a woman who gets amnesia, from falling off the treadmill at the gym no less, and forgets that she has kids, is married, and has wrapped up the honeymoon phase of her life. She thinks it's 10 years ago and reality is, it's a decade later. Read this if you, like me, need to be reminded to appreciate the many blessings we have, even if we feel like we are caught in an absolute crazy mess.

I loved this book, absolutely loved it! But, of course, this doesn't surprise me because we are soul sisters...
